All the cinema posters of Marta Corcho!

25/10/2014

Do you remember how a couple of weeks ago we said that Marta Corcho is a digital artist who wins at least one state competition of posters for year? Well, the legend occurred again, this time with a second place at Zaragoza's Cinema Festival.

It is a sure thing that Marta Corcho likes cinema.

It is a sure thing that she understands it, enjoys it, loves it,...

The screen tells something to her that attracts her, up to the point of producing, or rather, of constantly emanating an artistic work where the big Hollywood stars are always her messengers.

What does make you fall in love with cinema, Marta?

Maybe that over there life can be superb as a movie? That in the big screen an artist is always an artist? That there is more coherence and justice in fiction than at the theatre seats?

We are going to do a fast counting of the awards that Marta Corcho has won as a poster designer, just in the subject of cinema:

  • 2014: Second place at Zaragoza's Cinema Festival.
  • 2013: First place at Doñana's Scientific and Environmental Cinema Festival.
  • 2012: First place at Valladolid's International Week of Cinema.
  • 2011: First place "Punto de Encuentro" (Spot of Meeting) at Valladolid's International Week of Cinema.
  • 2011: Second place at Madrid's Cinema Festival - PNR
  • 2010: First place at FECINEMA (International Cinema Festival of Film Noir at Manresa)
  • 2010: First place "Punto de Encuentro" (Spot of Meeting) at Valladolid's International Week of Cinema.

Impressive!

So many talent recognised winning awards, we would have to see if this country (Spain) is able to compensate it making its artists to win in prestige, money, stability, self-esteem, satisfaction,... justice,...

To win prizes versus to earn a living. It really is a contradiction?

*We also add in this news the posters presented in other calls, even though they didn't win: they are genuines works of art too!

You can acquire copies of these posters contacting the artist herself, Marta Corcho.
